How Would You Spend A Million?

Where does all that money go? Well the primary purpose of the ALC is to raise money for the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. These two centers have been providing support to the LGBT community for 25 years. This support comes in the form of health (including free or low cost HIV/AIDS medical care, counseling, and testing and prevention), legal, social, cultural and educational services. They also create specific programs such as a transition living program that gives beds to homeless youth. It is also good to know that as the money is donated to the ride throughout the year, it doesn't sit until the end of the ride. You donation today gets used immediately thru these centers to help the LGBT culture today, not tomorrow or next year.
